Defense gears on slowing Heels' wheels

Carolina has some dynamic playmakers on offense. Wide receivers Brandon Tate and Hakeem Nicks will likely provide the toughest challenge Tech's secondary has seen all year. Tate has already accumulated 231 yards receiving and 125 yards rushing on only five carries. He's also scored four touchdowns on the season. Junior cornerback Stephan Virgil will have the tough assignment of covering Tate. "It's a good challenge for me. It's a good challenge for him," Virgil said.
