Ty-Laur Johnson, the No. 81 player in the 2023 basketball recruiting class, committed to Memphis on Saturday. The six-foot point guard committed to Penny Hardaway over Seton Hall and NC State. Johnson is the sixth commitment for Penny Hardaway in the 2023 class joining Mikey Williams, JJ Taylor, Ryan Forrest, Carl Cherenfant, and David Tubek. (247 Sports)
