Heels fall apart after Yates injury

North Carolina has a sign outside its locker room that reads “680 miles to Tampa.” Getting to Tampa just got a lot harder. The Tar Heels' game against Virginia Tech took an abrupt turn in the second half after an injury to quarterback T.J. Yates. The Heels allowed 17 unanswered points and the Hokies left Kenan Stadium with a 20-17 win.
