Tar Heel runners Greg Little and Shaun Draughn carried the ball just six times for 6 yards after the Tar Heels took a 17-3 lead. Granted, receivers Brooks Foster and Brandon Tate also carried during that time span, but it was telling that even with an inexperienced quarterback behind center, UNC didn't go to its tailbacks to protect the lead. In the end, Little and Draughn combined for just 81 yards.
