No. 17 North Carolina fell to rival NC State in double overtime on Friday night, 30-27, after Tar Heel kicker Noah Burnette missed a 35-yard field goal that would have kept the game alive. Quarterback Drake Maye surpassed Carolina's single-season passing yardage record with 3,755 yards, surpassing Mitch Trubisky who threw for 3,748 yards in 2016.
