Long year of recovery has Robert Quinn on the field
Posted Sep 24, 2008
Robert Quinn called his parents before UNC took the field against Rutgers to let them know he'd be starting his first collegiate game. The last time Quinn played football before then was last October for Fort Dorchester High School. The Saturday after the game, Quinn came down with a vicious headache and went to bed around 9:30 p.m. Around 3:30 a.m., Quinn's father heard two loud thumps when Quinn passed out in his bedroom and hit the floor.
