Coastal Carolina hires NC State offensive coordinator Tim Beck as head coach


Coastal Carolina has hired Tim Beck to replace the departing Jamey Chadwell, the school announced Sunday. Beck, the offensive coordinator at NC State, was finalizing a five-year contract that will pay him nearly $1 million per year, sources told ESPN. That contract will include strong incentives for performance, much like Chadwell's deal had. (ESPN.com)
