Erin Matson, Ryleigh Heck Earn National Field Hockey Honors

Two Tar Heels earned national honors from Bolster Field Hockey on Friday. Erin Matson was named National Player of the Year and Ryleigh Heck was selected as National Freshman of the Year. Matson and Heck, members of the U.S. National Team, started on UNC's front line in 2022 as the team finished 21-0 with the program's 10th NCAA Championship.
