Drake Maye, Bo Nix expected to light up Holiday Bowl in San Diego
Posted Dec 28, 2022
The first Holiday Bowl since 2019 and the first football game at Petco Park, home of MLB’s San Diego Padres, could rejuvenate the bowl’s history of wild high-scoring games. Quarterbacks Drake Maye of UNC and Bo Nix of Oregon put up big numbers and look to lead their teams back from late-season slumps. Oregon lost two of its last three football games.
