Drake Maye, UNC defense make huge plays but Tar Heels can’t get one last stop
Posted Dec 28, 2022
Oregon quarterback Bo Nix hit Chase Cota on a six-yard touchdown pass with 19 seconds left. Camden Lewis’ PAT deflected off the upright and went through to give the Ducks a 28-27 victory Wednesday in San Diego. Drake Maye’s Hail Mary pass attempt fell incomplete in the end zone as time expired. It was another heartbreaking loss for UNC.
