So ends Drake Maye’s freshman season: a campaign that featured historic numbers, endless excitement for the future, and a four-game losing streak. Maye fell just short of becoming the second freshman to have 5,000 total yards (Johnny Manziel) in a season but still delivered the goods in what will be remembered as a classic Holiday Bowl matchup.
