Tar Heels Stay in the Moment, Defeat Notre Dame, 81-64
Posted Jan 7, 2023
UNC didn’t get caught looking ahead Saturday. The Tar Heels dispatched Notre Dame 81-64 in ACC basketball at the Smith Center, with neither the early 11:30 a.m. tip-off time against the sliding Fighting Irish nor the prospect of the approaching test next week at Virginia becoming a trap for UNC. Armando Bacot logged 21 points and 13 rebounds.
