Commanders' QB Sam Howell 'excited' for first NFL start

With Washington officially eliminated from playoff contention Sam Howell, 22, was named the Commanders' starting quarterback for this Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Ron Rivera told reporters on Monday. The Week 18 contest will be the first regular season action of Howell's career. "I was excited," Howell said. (NBC Sports)
