Davis says chicanery necessary against stacked defenses

Butch Davis has faced an onslaught of questions this season about North Carolina's struggles running the ball. Faced with another query on the subject last week, the Tar Heels' coach responded with a hint of sass. "How much football do y'all know? Do you really know football?" Davis said. Davis then launched into a coaching lesson about how the Tar Heels were trying to loosen up the eight-man fronts they have been seeing this season. (Durham Herald-Sun)
