Ian Jackson becomes second-highest ranked recruit in 247Sports recruiting era to commit to UNC

With Ian Jackson picking UNC over Kentucky, the Tar Heels now have four commits for the 2024 class. But Jackson’s commitment also made a little history. He becomes the second-highest-ranked recruit on the 247Sports recruiting rankings to commit to UNC in program history. He passed Cole Anthony for that title and is behind only Harrison Barnes.
