Tar Heels' even-keeled Sexton worked for chance

Cameron Sexton's relief appearance that led to victory against Miami wasn't based on a week of practice, but rather 18 months of repetition in the team's offense installed by the new coaching staff, Butch Davis said. Davis said Sexton is essentially a product of the program and that the way he dealt with a demotion from first-string status made it possible for him to excel when given the opportunity.
