The Money Side of UNC Athletics


UNC brought in $30.2 million in 2021-22. That represents a 22% increase over its 2019-20 total of $24.8 million. Men’s basketball was the primary contributor in delivering $16.4 million in ticket sales. Football’s $12.7 million in ticket sales was its largest total since the athletic department reduced capacity at Kenan Stadium prior to the 2018 season. (Inside Carolina)
