UNC Football Transfer Amari Gainer Aims to Rev Up Tar Heels' Defense


Powerhouses such as Alabama and Ohio State contacted former Florida State linebacker and had discussions about how he might fit in their defensive schemes. Gainer visited Cincinnati and West Virginia, before traveling to Chapel Hill to spend time with the Tar Heels. Gainer said "after I left here, I knew this was the place I wanted to be."
