Tar Heels say: Thank goodness for Goddard

If the Tar Heels are to defeat their second Big East Conference opponent this season - they beat Rutgers last month - they will need another strong game from defensive stalwarts such as Trimane Goddard. In addition to notching a team-high four interceptions and 18 tackles this season, Goddard also provides leadership. With 21 career starts, Goddard is one of the most experienced members of the squad.
