Posted Oct 4, 2008
Senior safety Trimane Goddard's interception in the end zone on the final play of Carolina's 28-24 victory over Miami has earned the Tar Heels a Pontiac Game Changing Performance. College football fans voted the Tar Heels as the Pontiac Game Changing Performance for week five of the 2008 NCAA Football Season. As a result of their win, North Carolina will receive a $5,000 contribution from Pontiac to their general scholarship fund.
