North Carolina earned 21 first-place votes after picking up its first women's lacrosse win of the season over James Madison, this week's No. 12 team — extending the Tar Heels' win streak to 41 consecutive regular-season games. Maryland and Boston College stayed put at second third. The fourth and fifth place slots flipped after Syracuse topped Northwestern. (IWLCA)
