Walk-Off Grand Slam Propels UNC Softball Past Elon, 9-5


After trailing 5-0, the UNC softball team scored nine unanswered runs to defeat Elon 9-5 on Wednesday night at Anderson Stadium (Highlights). Isabela Emerling earned her first collegiate hit in a big way in the win. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh and the bases loaded, the redshirt freshman hit a grand slam to give the Tar Heels the walk-off victory. (GoHeels.com)
