More Pointing To The Passer Would Reflect Uptick For UNC Basketball

North Carolina is known for pointing to the passer after a player scores a basket. Legendary coach Dean Smith implemented the rule mandating that his players celebrate the passer. Somewhere along the way, UNC lost touch with the tradition, though it can still be seen at times. But the volume of assists are down this season, so the pointing is, too. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
