Tar Heels Fall Victim to NC State’s Second-Half Flurry

North Carolina couldn’t deliver what would’ve registered as a critical victory, and fell victim to NC State’s second-half flurry Sunday. The No. 23 Wolfpack defeated the Tar Heels 77-69 in ACC basketball in Raleigh, riding a burst from Jarkel Joiner and the strength of DJ Burns to keep UNC reeling. The Tar Heels suffered their fifth loss in six games.
