Jacob Stallings had a gift waiting for him when he arrived at the stadium on Friday. Inside a red box sat a Cartier watch, a gift from Miami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara to the catcher who was behind the plate for every pitch of Alcantara’s Cy Young Award-winning 2022 season. “It meant a lot having Jacob catch all of my games,” Alcantara said.
