The students in the Smith Center crowd were chanting Pete Nance's name after the final horn capping UNC’s 71-63 defeat of No. 6 Virginia. It was a roaring night in the building that had Nance screaming and flexing his arms at times, while delivering one of his best games this season with 22 points, four blocked shots and suddenly perfect 3-point shooting.
