Amid the drama and desperation, North Carolina couldn’t find enough offense to deny Duke on Saturday night. The Tar Heels came up short, losing 62-57 to the rival Blue Devils in an ACC basketball regular-season finale at the Smith Center, and missed on an enormous opportunity to perhaps move to the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.
