UNC still has a chance to make the NCAA Tournament, but it is slim. The NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET), implemented more than 10 years ago, is the most publicized criterion for at-large bids to the NCAA tourney due to its confusing Quad system of wins and losses home and away and at neutral sites. The Tar Heels have struggled to win Quad 1 games.
