Hubert Davis met Armando Bacot by accident. When Davis was an assistant coach for NUNC, he was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on a recruiting trip and had plans to fly to New York to watch an AAU game. However, Davis found out the person he was supposed to see wasn’t going to play, forcing him to change his travel plans and look elsewhere for talent. (Inside Carolina)
