UNC Receives $5 Million Gift to Address Nursing Shortage

Philanthropists Joanne and William E. Conway Jr. have pledged $5 million to the University of North Carolina to both support the school’s nursing students and to develop nursing educators. The gift is the largest in school history to support students, according to a release from the University. The Conways are based in the Washington, D.C. area.
