Can Notre Dame snuff out Tobacco Road hazard?
Posted Oct 11, 2008
If you follow college football closely, you probably anticipated North Carolina's sprint into the Top 25. The Tar Heels are loaded with playmakers, particularly wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Brandon Tate. And they have a head coach, Butch Davis, who built a talent factory at Miami in the early 2000s at Miami that would make USC's Pete Carroll blush. On one hand, it seems fair to grant this freshman- and sophomore-dominated Notre Dame team a road mulligan.
