UNC Linebacker Malaki Hamrick to Miss 2023 Football Season
Posted Mar 21, 2023
North Carolina sophomore defender Malaki Hamrick will miss the 2023 season with what head coach Mack Brown described on Tuesday as a non-contact lower-body injury that will require surgery. Hamrick, a 6-2.5, 220-pound native of Shelby, N.C., played in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2022, playing at UNC's jack position, which is an edge rusher.
