Rick Pitino quickly begins St. John’s talent hunt with visit to 5-star Boogie Fland

Rick Pitino is hitting the ground running and aiming high. The new St. John’s head basketball coach is set to visit Archbishop Stepinac Wednesday to get a look at 5-star guard Boogie Fland, according to sources. Fland is the seventh-ranked basketball recruit in the 2024 class and No. 2 player in New York, according to the 24/7 Sports recruiting composite.
