NFL scouts get early look at UNC QB Drake Maye, who could be top pick in 2024 NFL Draft

UNC football’s Pro Day wasn’t for quarterback Drake Maye, but it gave NFL scouts a head start on what could be in store for 2024. Maye, the reigning ACC Player of the Year and a projected top-five pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, embraced a secondary role Monday. Two of Maye’s former receivers – Josh Downs and Antoine Green – ran roughly 25 routes.
