Fans pour love to Daniel Bard who starts the MLB season in IL due to anxiety

It was announced on opening day that closing pitcher Daniel Bard would not partake in opening day. Instead, he would be on the injury list battling anxiety. Bard was stellar at UNC, finishing with a 23-12 record, with an ERA of 3.86 in 270 innings. His success at UNC led him to get drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the 2006 MLB draft.
