Five-star Texas basketball commit AJ Johnson heading to Australia to play in NBL

Five-star guard says that rather than attending Texas next season he will be signing to play with the Illiwarra Hawks of Australia's NBL. A 6-foot-5 combo guard at Southern California Academy who ranks No. 15 overall in the class of 2023, Johnson said that move to play professionally was a better fit for him and preparing for the NBA than college.
