Butch Davis dodges status of Dwight Jones

There was no straight answer from North Carolina coach Butch Davis about the potential playing status of Dwight Jones, the highly touted recruit out of Cummings High School. Jones, a true freshman after a season at a prep school, might be in line for his first playing time with the loss of receiver Brandon Tate to season-ending knee surgery. "We still aren't at the point where we would make the decision that you're probably going to redshirt," Davis said.
