UNC Women's Tennis Downs Charleston Southern, 4-0, To Advance To NCAA Second Round

The UNC women's tennis team, defeated Charleston Southern 4-0 on Friday in the inaugural round of NCAA action at the Chewning Tennis Center. In singles action, top-ranked Fiona Crawley extended UNC's lead to 3-0 after she won 6-1, 6-0. The Tar Heels clinched the match when Abbey Forbes put together an impressive 6-2, 6-0 victory on court four.
