UNC Baseball Notebook: Full Team Ahead for Clemson
Posted May 17, 2023
Freshman Casey Cook is approaching rarified air in UNC baseball history. His leadoff hit Tuesday night pushed his on-base streak to 40 games, joining Dustin Ackley (59) at the top of that list. Cook leads the team with a .348 batting average, but it is ACC play where his game has taken off. In 25 conference games, Cook is batting .426 with an OPS of 1.049.
