Multiple Tar Heels Advance in NCAA Women's Tennis Championships

Fresh off the program's first national championship, five UNC Women's Tennis players began competition in the NCAA Singles Championship on Monday. Top-ranked singles player Fiona Crawley quickly to the round of 32 after defeating Sara Dahlstrom (Florida), 6-4, 6-1 on Monday morning. A few hours later, Carson Tanguilig won her first round match.
