Carolina Classics Club Game Of The Week: NC State at UNC (2/18/1984)
Posted May 30, 2023
UNC's 1984 game against NC State in Carmichael Auditorium is one of my favorite Michael Jordan performances of his Tar Heel career. The junior MJ dominated, scoring 32 points (12-18 from the field, 8-11 from the line) while forcing 7.5 turnovers (including 6 steals) and 10 deflections. North Carolina dispatched of the Wolfpack in methodical fashion.
