No school was more constant in the recruitment of 5-star forward Blanca Thomas than UNC coach Courtney Banghart and her staff. After offering Thomas, a 6-5 standout at Charlotte Catholic, in April 2021, UNC never let up. It hosted Thomas on countless visits, an official visit, and took multiple trips to see her play.
