Carlson’s pitching, Horvath’s blast lead UNC past Wright State in NCAA Tournament elimination game

Challenging UNC's pitchers hasn’t gone well for opponents, and that didn’t change Saturday. Wright State questioned the routine of UNC starter Max Carlson’s delivery before going into his windup. There’s no question this motivated Carlson, who threw 6 2/3 one-hit shutout innings and extended Carolina’s season with a 5-0 victory over Wright State.
