The 2022-23 season wasn’t what UNC basketball envisioned when four of five starters returned for another year. One of those starters, Armando Bacot, put together another impressive season but it wasn’t enough to will them to the NCAA Tournament. Bacot is back for a fifth season in Chapel Hill and will be the unquestioned leader for the Tar Heels.
