Alessia Russo turns down record pay offer to leave Manchester United

England striker will leave Manchester United after turning down multiple offers of a new contract from the Women’s Super League side. The 24-year-old’s future at the club had been in doubt as she was in the final year of her contract. Arsenal’s interest has been abundantly clear ever since they tried to sign her for a fee in the region of £500,000. (The Telegraph)
