The Maye family is the "First family" of UNC athletics. Mark Maye started at quarterback in the 80s. All-American Luke Maye helped lead the Tar Heels to a basketball National Championship in 2017. Drake Maye is UNC's starting quarterback and ACC Player of the Year. Beau Maye walked onto the basketball team last season.
