Erin Matson, Austin O'Connor Win 2022-23 Patterson Medals

The 100th class of Patterson Medal winners, awarded to UNC's most outstanding student-athletes, includes three-time field hockey National Player of the Year Erin Matson and two-time wrestling national champion Austin O'Connor. Patterson Medals, determined on career athletic accomplishments, were first presented by Dr. Joseph Patterson in 1924.
