North Carolina: The Tar Heels shouldn't suffer any lingering effects from last season's late slide thanks to the return of preseason All-American quarterback Drake Maye and one of the ACC's deepest backfields. Providing better protection for Maye is a must. With eight defensive starters back, coordinator Gene Chizik should see some improvement. (Athlon Sports)
