Nicks goes on scoring spree against tough Eagles defense

Receiver Hakeem Nicks caught three touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown as the Tar Heels wiped out Boston College 45-24. Nicks called his own shot, more or less. During the team's walk-through at Kenan Stadium on Friday, Nicks boldly told offensive linemen that he foresaw a career day on the horizon. "I felt it," Nicks said. "I ain't going to say I felt four touchdowns, but I felt a career day, and that's just what I went out there and did." (Winston-Salem Journal)
