Posted Oct 26, 2008
North Carolina, sparked by receiver Hakeem Nicks, quarterback Cameron Sexton and an alert defense, buried No. 23 Boston College yesterday and gained bowl eligibility. UNC won 45-24 at Kenan Stadium after trailing 10-0 less than nine minutes into the game. Nicks scored four touchdowns, three on passes from Sexton, and the defense intercepted quarterback Chris Crane of Boston College three times.
