North Carolina, sparked by receiver Hakeem Nicks, quarterback Cameron Sexton and an alert defense, buried No. 23 Boston College yesterday and gained bowl eligibility. UNC won 45-24 at Kenan Stadium after trailing 10-0 less than nine minutes into the game. Nicks scored four touchdowns, three on passes from Sexton, and the defense intercepted quarterback Chris Crane of Boston College three times.
